The SW and NW arcs are defined by recumbent stones exposed by peat cutting.

There are several standing stones, survivors of an outer stone circle and an almost intact kerb defining the cairn. The monument is encircled by mature trees.

Two nice stones, each standing about 2 metres tall, and about the same distance apart.
