Indeed, according to Craig Wetherall’s ‘Belerion’, the 87 square miles of West Penwith (the Land’s End Peninsula) contains around 800 known sites of interest, and nearly half as many again have been lost. Add to this the wealth of sites around Bodmin Moor - a major prehistoric centre of occupation, St Breock Downs and the Lizard Peninsula, and you have a county that is probably richer in archaeology than any other in the country.
Indeed, it’s difficult to travel far in Cornwall without some evidence of prehistoric occupation making itself evident. Whether your preference is for Fogous ( Boleigh, Pendeen, Halliggye etc); Stone Circles ( Boscawen-Un, Merry Maidens, Hurlers...); Burial Chambers ( Trethevy, Zennor, Mulfra, Chun, Pawton…), Sacred Wells (Sancreed, Madron…), Iron Age settlements (Carn Euny, Carn Brea…) or Standing Stones (numerous Pipers and Fiddlers), Cornwall will have something to satisfy you.
