Standing Stone (Menhir) in Co. Cork

A solitary standing stone, officially recorded as monument number CO090-034----

On an E-W ridge of rough hill grazing on bog, on the lower, S-facing slopes of Barraboy Mountain. This standing stone (1.6m x 0.7m; H 1.45m) is rectangular in plan and section and is orientated NNW-SSE. Two wedge tombs (CO090-021001-, CO090-021002-) are c. 180m to the SE.
