Log Text: I first visited here in about 1999. At the at time you could walk on the long barrow, and there was no fence. In recent years there has been a fence put up and it is very over grown with shrubs and trees . There is also a fairly detailed information sign with a diagram of the barrow. however even that is now overgrown with brambles. Shame. Better to cut it all down so it can be seen. Its hard to photograph.

Fourknocks submitted by kenwilliams on 19th Oct 2005. An extremely wide lens fits in just about the entire chamber, taken from the short passageway. Note the carvings on the free standing stone to the right.
The light is natural light from the ingeniously placed holes in the modern roofing.

Ffynnon Aelrhiw submitted by Catrinm on 31st Mar 2018. This well (Grade II listed) is now restored with better access with Welsh Gov funding for access projects. On a circular waymarked walk on Rhiw ...efforts to open a ditch to improve drainage seems instead to have made the footpath very boggy !
