A Thracian settlement, dating back to the 5th century BC, was uncovered near the village of Vassil Levski, the municipality of Karlovo, Central Bulgaria. The site covers an area of 25 decares and includes a fortified wall and a number of Greek utensils, which archaeologists believe were used for importing wine from the Mediterranean.
Experts describe the remains of the settlement as unique due to a 3000-year-old building with a tiled roof, decorated just like the utensils.
