Ardristan
Ardristan submitted by KenWilliams : Beautifully grooved stone, typical yet more impressive than most similarly grooved stones in Carlow. About five minutes after this was taken I was chased out of the field by an extremely aggressive bull and just about made it with life and limb intact, a reminder to you all that you have to stay aware of your surroundings in case theres something lurking in an adjoining field! Megalithic Portal contributor Ken Williams is holding his first Shadows and Stone solo exhibition at the Brú na Bóinne Visitor Centre, Donore, Co. Meath, Ireland between the 10th and 24th of April 2006. The visitor centre is the gateway to the Boyne Valley prehistoric sites and a fitting location as these monuments have often had the attention of Ken's amazing lenswork.

Thank you Angie and whatisthat, well spotted on my website! The centre is a great space for exhibitions and the manager there is doing great work supporting local artists and getting the local community/schools involved.
The poster seems to be going down well, I stopped in to a few places with them over the last week and I now have another two exhibitions coming up. One is confirmed for the Kells Heritage Centre for the month of September so anyone in the Meath area around September can catch the exhibition then.

Thanks again for the plug whatisthat :)

Congatulations Ken! You couldn't wish for a better venue for the exhibition.
Let's hear all about it afterwards.

I like the poster on your own website pages.
