The pace of active development at the Portal continues, with the addition of links to Google Maps (aerial photos) worldwide. Look for the dark blue aeroplane icon on any of our main site pages. The idea for links to Google Maps came from a site visitor so please get in touch via the Forum or by private message if you have ideas for any new features or web resources we could link to. There is lots more to come.

We are also evaluating the possibilities of Google Earth, but in the meantime don't forget you can download our site listings in spreadsheet format suitable for loading into GPS receivers or making your own maps.

Go to the "Guides by County/Type" part of the site, from the left hand menu. Navigate to the country, country etc that you are interested in, then look in the right-hand menu for a 'Download' link. Click on this to get a .csv file of the local area that you can open in Excel or other spreadsheet programs. There's more information in our Forum, try searching for 'GPS'.
