Modern Sites
The website is divided into the following sections:
* Healing - profiling various modalities of healing services at Earth Sanctuary, including Reiki touch therapy, Japanese acupuncture, and music therapy.
* Events - giving background on upcoming special events, whether they're hosted by Earth Sanctuary or independent presenters. This section also gives details on the monthly group labyrinth walk.
* Facility Rental - describing rental options (for the land and/or the house) for private retreats, small group retreats and workshops, and weddings at Earth Sanctuary.
* Day Visits - including driving directions, a map, and various guided tours that are available. (Please note that day visitors no longer have to pre-register through Earth Sanctuary's Administrative Office.)
* Sacred Space - explaining the megalithic environmental sculptures (labyrinth, dolmen, two stone circles), as well as the smaller artworks, and blessings that Earth Sanctuary has received from spiritual leaders.
* Ecology - discussing Earth Sanctuary's physical environment (from vegetation to wildlife), and the holistic approach we're taking to healing forest mismanagement practices of the past. This section features the "500-Year Plan" an in-depth (over 100 pages) scientific study of the ecosystem.
* About Us - making past articles and news releases available, besides a background on Earth Sanctuary's founder and team, appreciations from visitors who have visited, a fact sheet for the press, and contact information.
* Resources - supporting those interested in exploring the world of Earth Sanctuary further through books and websites that investigate nature, spirituality, and sacred space.
So much has been accomplished since building began on the megaliths in February. We encourage you to get reacquainted with Earth Sanctuary by visiting us at www.earthsanctuary.org !
This is only the beginning for the website. We recognize it as a living thing in its own right and anticipate it will change and growth in the future. Please let us know what you think of it. We'd like to hear what works for you, and where we can make improvements.
