A major assembly bringing together enquiring minds seeking deeper truths about our ancient spiritual heritage

Speakers:

David Elkington – The Green Man and the Landscape. Author David Elkington's recent work reveals much that is new, such as the Green Man’s surprisingly deep connections with the landscape.

Michael Hodges – Ley Lines In Question / Knowlton Henges. Are ley lines fact or fiction? Michael is former chairman of both the Society of Ley Hunters and Dorset Earth Mysteries Group.

Rodney Carr-Smith – Ritual Initiation Inside Newgrange. An alternative view, drawing on mythology, archaeology, dowsing, spirituality and an understanding of earth energies.

Karen Douglas & Steve Alexander - Crop Circles: Temporary Temples for the Modern Age? Karen & Steve are widely renowned for their fine-art Crop Circle Year Books series over the last five years.

Dr. Terence Meaden – Simulacra of Ancient Landscapes and Prehistoric Megaliths. Author of books about Avebury & Stonehenge, Dr Meaden has advanced our understanding of megalithic simulacra.

Nicholas Mann – Glastonbury Tor: A Foresight for Winter Solstice Sunrise. An illustrated presentation on the astronomical alignments and earth energies of Glastonbury Tor. Nicholas Mann is a celebrated author of many books including The Isle of Avalon and Energy Secrets of Glastonbury Tor.

Alan Alford – Secret Passages and Chambers of the Great Pyramid of Giza. Alan is author of Pyramid of Secrets and The Midnight Sun, which include radical new theories about the ancient Egyptians.

Evening finale – A performance by Peter Knight of the Ancient Ambient Chill-Out – large-screen images of sacred sites, tribal shamans, etc, accompanied by funky music. Chill out or let your hair down!

Convention Chairman: Peter Knight – Co-founder of the Dorset Earth Mysteries Group and author of 3 books and a CD-ROM dealing with sacred sites, ley lines and our ancient spiritual heritage.

The Venue

The Digby Memorial Hall, Digby Road, Sherborne in Dorset. This excellent refurbished facility in the centre of the market town offers a main hall seating 180+, a stage, dining room and areas for stalls. It has on-street parking & a large car park at nearby Sainsburys. Sherborne station is a few minutes walk away, and is served by direct trains from London and Exeter, with connections from Bristol and Bournemouth.

Stalls, Food and Drinks

There will be several stalls selling books and other items. Vegetarian lunches, suppers and refreshments will be available - at very reasonable prices! The Convention has a non-smoking policy.

Cost: only £25 advance booking; £28 on the door. This covers the whole day and evening.
