This restored fort is well worth a visit. You can enter the fort and even climb the walls using the several built in stairways.

Check online for details. Don the provided hard hat and decend the shaft to view side shafts and artefacts. The surrounding area, with other shafts, either marked or filled, can we rambled on at leasure throughout the year.
