Bluestones Monument submitted by PaulM : The Bluestones Monument on Mynachlog-ddu Common (SN135304), Pembrokeshire.
Two stones were helicoptered down from the Bluestones outcrop of Carn Menyn (visible in the background of the image) in 1989. The other stone was taken to Stonehenge.

The centre piece of an ill-fated lottery project is destined to see out its time in a Welsh rockery The Western Mail reports. The Bluestone - originally to have been dragged the 240 miles from Pembrokeshire to Stonehenge - now resides on a quayside in Pembroke Dock and would need to travel another 50 miles before reaching its intended final home at the National Botanic Garden of Wales.
The stone with the chequered history is to form part of a Rock of Ages exhibition despite calls for it to return to the Pembrokeshire village Mynachlogddu - at the foot of the bluestone outcrop of Carn Meini.
