Castlerigg Stone Circle
Castlerigg Stone Circle submitted by JanF : ~ On my way back from photographing steam trains, I was guided by a voice (above) to travel to Castlerigg Stone Circle and take some images. Here is my photo taken just s few hours ago .... (Vote or comment on this photo)
We'd like to announce the arrival of our new voting system for the Megalithic Portal monthly photo competitions. We've simplified it so now if you like a photograph and think it's a contender for our competition, all you have to do is press the Vote button next to any photo in our gallery.

Please do vote and comment on any photos that particularly catch your eye. You can vote for photos based on visual or archaeological merit or for any other reason you like.

There is still time to vote on photos from all of 2014, here are the links to our galleries for January, February, March, and April 2014.

Thanks for the kind comments so far, we hope this simplification will increase the numbers of votes cast. A vote from any person will start off the scoring, remember that you are allowed to vote for your own photos ONCE if you would like to put them forward.
