October 2001
October 2001 submitted by Jez : Sunset at Arbor Low, Peak District, at the end of the October meet of Derbyshire Megaliths. The moon rose just before the sun set. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Main gazetteer pages on this site now cross-link to thumbnail pictures in our eGallery. This means that photos you submit now display as a core part of the Megalitic Portal. For example see here on the recent damage to the Nine Ladies in Derbyshire

News items will also have thumbnail images, where available. Our visitors are adding to the eGallery every day. Submit your photos by going to the eGallery link in the main menu. Full credit is given and it may be spotted for paid use by one of the magazine or newspaper picture editors who use the Megalithic Portal as an ancient sites photo library.
Why bother with the heavy maintenance of a web site in a backwater somewhere - submit your pictures here for all to see!
Cheers,
Andy
