You've guessed it, another American Stonehenge impersonation, this time in Colorado. Jim Striggow, president of LaPorte-based Stone Wholesale Corp., is building The Rock Garden just north of Fort Collins. To showcase the monolith rock slabs the company mines from a quarry nearby, Striggow's crew is creating a park on half of the four-acre business.

You can find it at 11585 North Highway 287, on the southeast corner of Colorado Highway 1 and U.S. Highway 287.

The business is divided by Spalding Lane; half is the park and half is the sales office.

Influenced by the ancient mysteries of Stonehenge in England, Striggow's crew is creating a public space within the business for people to imagine landscaping, waterfalls and construction with natural, rock slabs.
