The first prize goes to cromagnonman (Paul Crome). When he posted the picture, he describe how
he took this beautiful image: "I find something magical about the process of creating a star-trail
picture. Sitting under the stars for three or four hours with no lights so my eyes have adjusted to the
dark so well that I don't need any additional light. Gazing at the vastness of the universe, spotting
meteors, satellites, aircraft, all in complete silence...." Follow the link to the image on the Portal
