Castle Fraser Recumbent Stone Circle at NJ715125 is described by Burl as one of the best with six stones still standing making a circle of some 20 metres diameter.

In the same field some 220 metres East is a pair of standing stones - both about 7 feet high.

Castle Fraser circle submitted by TheCaptain : When I get to the stone circle, noted by Burl as one of the best recumbent stone circles, it is again a disappointment as it is all very overgrown, but this doesn't prevent me having a good look around. The recumbent and its two flankers are splendid.

I prefer the more interesting name - Balgorkar, Now what does that mean? I've no idea but for some reason it makes me think of birds.
