Back in 1959, I was lucky enough to be on a seasons dig in West Cornwall, near to St.Buryan.
The big cheese was PAS Poole, one of the top archaeologists of the W.Cornwall Field Society.
Since that time, I have heard little or nothing of the results of that dig.
One of the other main characters of the dig was one Brett Guthrie, a native Penwithian, who tried to keep us in order !
If there is ANYBODY out there who might have been on that dig, or knows anything about the results, it would be nice to make contact. It was a time of wonderful weather, one of those HOT summer West Penwith days, and with the team, much serious learning, and a helluva lot of laughter too.

11th March 2020 - the first visit to this site, couldn't locate the settlement at first observation from field, but did find after skirting around to the opposite corner, surprised how well maintained considering just how much bramble surrounds this spot.
