Hillfort in Carmarthenshire

An earthworks, the remains of a Roman fortlet, set high on the mountain to the West of the major camp of Y Pigwn. The central mound is about 60' square and is surrounded by a bank about 20' wide and 3' high. No sign remains of a surrounding ditch. It offers a commanding view of the country to the North and East.

Waun Ddu Roman Fortlet submitted by Horatio : View from the raised viewing platform within the centre of the Fortlet. This fortlet is below the two large Roman marching camps on Y Pigwn. I'm surprised there's nothing on the meg P map re these larger camps good enough a reason to go back up with a drone to get photos as needs an aerial view to see it, then I'll submit a 'new site' unless someone beats me to it.
