The barrow cemetery was 250X120 metres large and had over 60 smaller burial cairns and an unknown number of flat ground burials. Both round and long cairns and round stone settings were observed. In 1909 some of the cairns had been removed and only 40 cairns were left. 12 burial cairns have been excavated, but the graves did not contain any grave goods. Mostly only cremated human bones were found. In 1979-1984 10 more cairns have ben excavated again showing very little findings except burned human bones. This grave custom is mostly known from the older iron age. Today 16 cairns are still visible, only three are large enough to be visible when the cemetery is overgrown with grass.
The visible cairns today are three round cairns. They are 8-12 metres in diameter and 1 to 1,5 metres in height. They are all overgrown with smaller trees except one that is very clear and easy to see. The site has a large information poster.
