Chambered Tomb in Lower Saxony

In woods north of town. Only 3 capstones and 6 uprights remain of this chambered tomb. The rest was taken away in 1893 to build a church.

Plingenberger Steine Grosssteingrab
Plingenberger Steine Grosssteingrab submitted by Martin_L : The best preserved part of the chamber. Many stones were robbed, but the remains are beautifully situated in woodland. Quite remote location. It is not signposted from the village, but a very small info panel is located close to the narrow dirt-road leading along the edge of the woodland.
