The closest "long graves" like this lie near Oldenburg (Germany). There are two burial chambers and the tomb is orientated north - south.

Trip No.4 Entry No.23 Date Added: 1st Oct 2010
Site Type: Passage Grave
Country: Netherlands (Drenthe)
Visited: Yes on 26th Jul 2002. My rating: Condition 2 Ambience 4 Access 4

D22 Bronneger submitted by Martin_L on 12th May 2009. 5 orthostats and 2 large capstones are left of this passage grave. Possibly in situ. But the chamber is deeply hidden in the ground. Only the 2 capstones and one orthostat are visible nowadays. There is an enormous tree growing beside the tomb. All in all a very atmospheric site. (May 2009)
Remark: the lens hood was removed to get some lens flares.

D53 Havelterberg submitted by Sunflowerbird on 10th Mar 2005. D53 Havelteberg
The two Havelteberg monuments are a long way west from the string of hunebedden between Emmen and Assen. But they're worth a detour!
D54 and D53 are within 400ms of each other in sandy heathland.
D53 is a moster hunebed in superb shape and even has its portal stones.
