The Origin and Development of Megalithic Monuments in Western Europe: a major international conference to be held at the Musée des Tumulus de Bougon, (Deux-Sèvres, western France) from 26th to 30th October 2002.

A group of 30 invited speakers from ten European countries will consider and discuss theoretical issues and diverse approaches in the light of recent advances in our knowledge of Atlantic megalithic monuments. Participants will include Richard Bradley, Gabriel Cooney, Charles-Tanguy
Le Roux, and Svend Hansen.
