Information about Raddick Hill Cist comes from Prehistoric Dartmoor Walks (PDW), where it features in their "Sharpitor Area Stone Rows and Cists" walk. Their notes say this is "one of a group of 4 cairns. Excavated by Burnard in 1899 - a small piece of corroded bronze, possibly a knife, was found. This almost perfect cist is now obscured by vegetation". Also see PDW's entry for the Sharpitor area Stone Rows and Cists.
Further information can be found on Pastscape, Monument Number 440088, which tells us that this is the third of the cairns identified by Burnard, which he said had been disturbed but gave no further details. Currently this cairn is as follows: It has an overall diameter of 12.0m and 1.2m. high with no visible kerb or similar feature. It appears to be a platform cairn with an originally flat top 8.0m across which now incorporates an off centre excavation hollow and an infilled trench from the north east side towards the centre. The trench seems to have been cut from the top and not through the side of the cairn." Field investigators comments in 2007 report: A fine turf-covered cairn situated at the head of a shallow dry valley below Hart Tor with impressive distant veiws in most directions. Much of the well-constructed cist with part of its capstone in situ is visible in the enviscerated core of the 1.5m high stony mound."
This cairn is also recorded as MDV4947 (Platform cairn 60 metres north of Raddick Hill summit) on the Devon and Dartmoor HER, and scheduled as Historic England List Entry No. 1007418 (Platform cairn 60m north of Raddick Hill summit).
