You can now sign up to be e-mailed our news headlines automatically every couple of weeks or so (still controlled by me so you won't be deluged).

To sign up for this, register as a User.
If you are already registered then this will take you to your settings page - click on Your Account and then 'Change your Info' and you will see a new Yes/No selection 'Receive e-mail newsletter?' at the bottom. Set this to Yes.

If you are currently registered but can't remember your password, go to
Users and enter your Login Nickname at the bottom (leave the Confirmation Code box blank. We will send an automatic Email to you with your Confirmation Code, then you need to re-type your Nickname and type your Cofirmation Code and we will send to you a new password. If you've forgotten your nickname you'd better sign up again :-)

Less cheesy avatar images
While editing your info you could pick a new avatar, or little identity picture. I've chucked out most of the cheesy yellow smiley faces and installed about 100 rather nice new ones that may be more appropriate.

It's also worth mentioning that you should add http:// to the link for your home page if you want it to show up.

Go faster
Also, if you find the Yellow 'Megalithic' theme loads too slowly, or gives you a headache, I'd recommend changing the theme to ExtraLite (Select Theme button). This has the added advantage of turning off the top banner ads - Member bonus :-) I have a new streamlined theme in development, not ready yet.
