The Pagan Unity Campaign has been working for the past 6 months to promote and coordinate a nationwide project aimed at getting politicians to better appreciate the large numbers of Pagans in America.


The idea of the "I Am Project" was to get all Pagans to get a postcard with a local picture on the front. On the back of the postcards, they have been asked to write, "I am a Pagan _____." with occupation in the blank, like nurse or mother, etc. Lastly, they are to mail the cards to the President, both Senators and their House Representative.


The point here is to let politicians know that Pagans are found in all walks of life and sectors of society. Also, it is to let these elected officials know that Paganism is now the nation's SECOND largest religion with 13.5 million practioners.
