Following recent research into the phenomenon of the double sunset, visible from St Edward’s Church in Leek, Staffordshire on Midsummer’s Day, fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society, Kevin Kilburn, has carried out further investigations on astronomical alignments at the nearby Bridestones chambered cairn on the Cheshire/Staffs border and made a number of interesting discoveries.
