Nantwich Museum is currently hosting an exhibition called 'Finding the past' which features archaeological finds made by members of the public.

Among items currently on display is a copy of a Roman auxiliary soldier's helmet, a Cetic strap junction and a ferret ring from a horse's harness.

Most of the items in the exhibition have been discovered by amateur archaeologists using metal detectors. The exhibition runs until July 27 at the museum in Pillory Street, Nantwich.
