SUNDAY 24th FEBRUARY 2002

This meet will look at some 'old-favourites', but at a time of year not visited on a stones meet!

10am
Meet at SK 287 681, east of Beeley, and adjacent Hell Bank Plantation for PARK GATE STONE CIRCLE (SK 281 685) and also HOB HURST'S HOUSE (SK 287 692)

From parking, west to Beeley, North on B6012 to Baslow; then on Sheffield road A621. Parking on the left at SK 752 282

12pm
BARBROOK 1 & 2 CIRCLES (SK 278 756 & 278 758) , disputed stone row, & standing stone.
Packed lunches here!

Continue on up to Owler Bar roundabout; left / west on B6054. Park SK 281 778, or thereabouts

2pm
BARBROOK 3 CIRCLE

Continue along, going on to the B6054. Parking at lay-by SK 256 776 or National Trust car park opposite.

2:45pm
FROGGATT EDGE CIRCLE SK 249 768

Descend on the B6054, turning right, through Froggatt and over its bridge; right turn onto B6001. Turn left in the centre of Grindleford, following the road which turns into Sir William Hill Road. Hopefully parking will be near the footpath at SK 218 779.
