Neolithic and Bronze Age

<< News >>

The Negotiating Avebury project are currently digging at the West Kennet avenue and in the Longstones field. They hope to determine if the Beckhampton avenue finished at the Cove or went further. They are also opening a trench further along the avenue towards Trusloe to seek out buried stones, sockets or burning pits.

The dig is due to finish on September 26th.
I'm posting picture updates every day on my site.
