Log Text: A very interesting site, managed by a gentleman who has a passion for recreating history, along with the flora native to the area. There is genuinely something of interest for all ages

Lligwy Burial Chamber

Lligwy Burial Chamber submitted by Jimwithnoname on 8th Sep 2011. Amazing dolmen and very unnerving sat underneath the 25 ton capstone. It's perched on very little it seems on the one side. The warden approached us as we sat eating at the site. He asked if we were thinking of stopping the night, which we were, but as he said. that's a no no. We respected him and moved on after our picnic. He was quite pleasant and only doing his job. Many people wild camp as he said, and set fire to crops or drive through hedges!

Tyfos

Tyfos submitted by vicky on 7th Jun 2002. Tyfos Circle, Llandrillo, Denbighshire GR: SJ028388 This fantastic little circle lies in a farmer's field adjacent to a country lane near Llandrillo. Around 20 stones stand in a ring which has been described as either a denuded ringcairn or a free-standing stone circle. Although it is on private land it is well worth a visit and there are several gaps in the hedge making viewing easy.

Cors Y Gedol 2003 dowsing plan

Cors Y Gedol 2003 dowsing plan submitted by AngieLake on 23rd May 2020. Cors Y Gedol - one of my favourite sites - on the hill above Dyffryn Ardudwy, dowsed in 2003. On my first visit, I remember asking in the little shop how to find the Dyffryn Ardudwy site and following the lady's instructions, only to find myself up here (I'd driven up the lane to a car park at the end, not far from here.) Again, I asked the rods to show me the processional route enacted at the time of the earliest important rituals, and this is what I recorded. The straighter line of movement...
