Rhos y Gelynen Stones
Rhos y Gelynen Stones submitted by TimPrevett : Three standing stones, two prostrate, and one partially buried lie in a row west-south-west to east-north-east. A long walk for this, good footwear imperative. Best reached by first visiting the stones at Cefn Llanerchi near the masts and aerials, then cutting a line out west to reach a track which runs past them. Any lower approach ends up being horrendously boggy. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Stone Row (Alignment) in Powys

Three standing stones, two prostrate, and one partially buried lie in a row west-south-west to east-north-east. A long walk for this, good footwear imperative.

Update November 2019: More information about this alignment can be found on the Stone Rows of Great Britain website - see their entry for Rhos y Gelynen, which includes a description, a plan of the row from a survey carried out in August 2018, photographs of the alignment and its individual stones, access information and links to online resources for more information.

The row is also recorded as Coflein NPRN 261786 (Rhos-y-Gelynnen Stones) and scheduled as RD195 (Rhos y Gelynnen Stone Row) on the CADW website.

Rhos y Gelynen Stones submitted by HarryTwenty : Didn't stay to clean this stone up to have a proper look as it rained pretty heavily. Worth investigating though. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Rhos y Gelynen Stones
Rhos y Gelynen Stones submitted by HarryTwenty : Looking SW from the recumbent to the stone row. The stones from the row can be seen right of centre on the horizon. The row is aligned E-W and this lies to the NE of the row if standing on the southern side looking north. Would be a very handy marker if it was man made. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Rhos y Gelynen Stones
Rhos y Gelynen Stones submitted by HarryTwenty : Big stone lying to the NE of the row. Is this the one referred to by Archwilio? "Boulder 78m NE of stone row. Isolated and recumbent, 1.9m long, 1.29m wide, 0.45m thick. Possibly natural? (RCAHM 1971)"
