markj99 visited on 9th Sep 2022 - their rating: Cond: 3 Amb: 4 Access: 3 The Greenbarrow Barrows can easily be visited en route to Trehudreth Downs. The SE Barrow is the most impressive monument. Despite a GPS search I couldn't locate the third barrow.

TheCaptain visited on 18th Jun 2022 - their rating: Cond: 3 Amb: 3 Access: 3 There are two large green round cairns up here, each with several large stones around the edges, possibly kerb stones. There should be a third cairn somewhere, but its not so obvious. Time to get back, making sure I pass the stone row end again, having a look for any others I could find further east, but nothing.

A group of 3 barrows on Greenbarrow Tor, one being large with remains of a kerb.

Two of the cairns are clear to see from miles around, but the third is not so obvious.

According to Cornwall & Scilly HER Number: 1634 there are 3 cairns in Greenbarrow Downs Bronze Age Cairn Cemetery. Cornwall & Scilly HER Number: 1634.10 describes a round barrow at SX 1303 7302. Greenbarrow Downs NE is a grassy round platform measuring c. 17 yards in diameter and 1.5 feet high with a central mound measuring c. 10 yards in diameter and 2 feet high. There is an Excavated Hollow in the centre of the cairn filled with reeds. Cornwall & Scilly HER Number: 1634.20 corresponds to Greenbarrow Downs SW, a round barrow c. 150 yards SW. This impressive grass-covered barrow measures c. 25 yards in diameter with a central mound measuring c. 4 feet high. There is an earthfast Kerb Stone in the W Arc. There is also a large stone on the N Arc of the platform, possibly a displaced Kerb Stone. A ditch is visible between the Central Mound and the raised platform on the N Arc. The hollow centre of the barrow has irregular excavation pits. The NGR is recorded as SX 1298 7294. The remaining cairn, listed as Cornwall & Scilly HER Number: 1634.30 describes a recently scheduled stony platform located c. 35 yards NW of Greenbarrow Down SW. A grid search at SX 1303 7302 failed to find it amongst rough moorland tussocks.
