markj99 visited on 9th Sep 2022 - their rating: Cond: 3 Amb: 4 Access: 3 I spent a pleasant afternoon wandering Trehudreth Downs. I was successfully searching for cairns but also stumbled on this short stone row running WSW-ENE. The stones were low lying and difficult to locate in rough moorland. Upon consulting my GPS I noted that this was the W end of a long stone row. At the time I couldn't locate its remaining portion. The Stone Rows of Great Britain includes Trehudreth Down. Stone 19 (SX 12464 72955) and Stone 13 (SX 12499 72967) gives the full range of the stones I found.

TheCaptain visited on 18th Jun 2022 - their rating: Cond: 2 Amb: 3 Access: 3 A mixed weather forecast for today, and after some horrendous rain, it stops so I go for an extensive exploration of Trehudreth Down, with its standing stones and stone row. Apart from the standing stone to the south, nothing much is readily seen, so I resort to using my GPS, and eventually find a long fallen stone, possibly the northeastern end. I find about 5 more stumps and little stones spaced out in a southwestern direction, but then anything of the stone row is hard to find, and a large herd of cattle with their young, mean I keep away from much of the central part it. I pass well clear of the cows and further on I find a sort of stone setting, which I think is what I have called Trehudreth Downs B stone setting. Further west, and a see about half a dozen evenly spaced stones in a haphazard row descending the slope, which matches to the western end of the row on the map. Without seeing anything between the eastern and western ends, it wouldnt surprise me if it was two seperate rows, as the two ends do not really line up with each other.

SandyG visited on 24th Feb 2018 - their rating: Cond: 2 Amb: 5 Access: 3 Car parking is available at SX 12639 73865. From here walk south across the moorland to the stone row. There are boggy bits that are best avoided by crossing at SX 12639 73495.

Approximately 450 metre long stone row on Trehudreth Downs just to the north of the A30 near the western edge of the Bodmin Moor high plateau.

The row runs in an ENE to WSW alignment, from SX 1289 7308 to SX 1245 7295. The remaining stones are on average about 0.3 metres, and are spaced at about 4.5 metres from each other.

Update August 2019: This row is featured on the Stone Rows of Great Britain website - see their entry for Trehudreth Downs, which includes a description, a plan of the row and its associated cairns, photographs and a section on 'Landscape Reveals'. The SRoGB records that this stone row sits within a context of cairns, a standing stone or stone pair and a stone setting.

The row is also recorded as Pastscape Monument No, 434022. Whilst there is no record on Historic England, entering the grid reference in their 'map search' facility shows 'stone row' and 'stones' on their map.
