St John's Well (Morwenstow) submitted by AngieLake : Lovely situation, tucked away in a leafy dell, on the edge of an orchard. Access signposted from lane. Just across the lane from the 'gated' end of the churchyard path at Morwenstow - famous poet-priest, Hawker's - church. St John's Well (Morwenstow) submitted by cazzyjane : St John's Well, July 2011. A charming well but unfortunately now the only well in Morwenstow you can visit as St Morwenna's Well situated on the cliffs there, is no longer accessible. (Vote or comment on this photo)

St John's Well (Morwenstow)
St John's Well (Morwenstow) submitted by KiwiBetsy : St John’s Well still supplies baptismal water for the Church of Sts Morwenna and John the Baptist. It is located in a corner of the vicarage garden and used to also supply water to the vicarage. This is a very old well as it is mentioned in a document dating from the 13th century. St John's Well (Morwenstow) submitted by cazzyjane : Holy Well of St John the Baptist. New slate and shingle outside. The well itself was nice and clean, so good to see it's being looked after.
