Round Cairn in Isle of Skye

This round cairn appears almost complete in height, but a significant part of the whole has been removed "to improve the fishing", so I was told by a resident of Kilmarie House, who understands the cairn to be "Neolithic in origin" and referred to beakers and other later burials within the structure. She stated that the cairn is generally missed by visitors to Dun Ringill, but in the winter months the cairn is clearly visible from the public road looking left across the river just before you arrive at the first outbuildings of Kilmarie House on the right. (Just beyond the house is a 2-3 cars parking area generally used as a starting point for visiting Dun Ringill). There is a footbridge across the river to the cairn.

Cnocan nan Gobhar? The hillock of the goat - goat hillock (mound / cairn / tump / tumulus even?). It's a good word, gobhar. Find it in Welsh as gafr, and at the ancient sites of Yeavering Bell and Gefrin in Northumberland.
