Stone Circle in Gozo. To the north of the village of Ghajnsielem these megaliths about 1.5 metres high form a fairly regular circle about 10 metres in diameter.
The stones stand on flat slabs which survive even where the uprights have disappeared. The site has never been excavated or dated but its plan suggests that it could have been a circle standing in relation to the Borg il-Gharib temple in the same way the Xaghra Stone Circle stands in relation to Gigantija and, on Malta, the Hypogeum to Tarxien.
