Standing Stones in Møre og Romsdal
Inside the cemetery at Hareid church and in the middle of the Hareid village are two standing stones among the modern gravestones. They are located just next to the north wall, in a small open space of the cemetery.
One of the stones is about 2.5 metres in height, around 30-40cm wide and very pretty and slender shaped. It is standing straight with no tilting to either side.
The smaller stone is located about 3 metres away from the larger one, this one is around 50cm high and around 10cm wide. If it had not had the rough shape and no inscription, it could from a distance be confused with a modern gravestone.
