In the schoolyard of the Hof school is a small iron age barrow cemetery. Three barrows are in the schoolyard while more barrows are in a tight wooded area just next to the school.
The three in the schoolyard are only overgrown with very short grass and some larger trees and are easy to see. The site has also been prepared with a information poster.
The barrows in the schoolyard appear to have been flattened, though are still easily visible. One barrow is 16 metres in diameter and around 0,5 metres in height. Remains of two large stone slabs are visible on top, they are believed to be part of the burial stone coffin. The other barrow is 8 metres in diameter and 0,5 metres in height, remains of a circle of stones around the edges (kerbstones) are still visible and the third barrow around 10 metres in diameter and 1 metre in height. The remains of possibly a broken standing stone can be seen on top.
The other small barrows inside the nearby forest are heavily overgrown, small in size and difficult to find.
