Early Christian Sculptured Stone in Cornwall

This ancient Celtic cross was 'recently' unearthed during a development project in Truro city centre, and restored, and placed where it stands today.

There was very little online info on the cross.
See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Cross,_Truro

The website quote reads:

"At the edge of the square near Pydar Street, there is an ancient Celtic cross, recently unearthed during a development project in the city. It was then restored and displayed at High Cross, where it previously stood in the city's earlier years."

("High Cross is the name of a cobbled plaza in Truro, Cornwall, United Kingdom, in front of the west face of Truro Cathedral. It is at the junction of Pydar Street, King Street, and St Mary's Street.")

I added all the likely names for this one!

Truro Cathedral Celtic Cross
Truro Cathedral Celtic Cross submitted by AngieLake : The more well-defined side of the cross, with Truro Cathedral behind it. High Cross is the name of the piazza, and the cathedral's title is The Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The guitarist had been entertaining shoppers with lovely Spanish type music.

I only heard about this tonight on local tv, though it happened almost a year ago. It has been pieced together and re-erected, so no doubt there will be more footage on the same link tomorrow.
