Keryvon allée couverte

Keryvon allée couverte submitted by thecaptain on 27th Feb 2007. Right beside the D.788 road from Trébeurden to Trégastel, and only feet from the cliff edge, is the remains of this allée couverte. It has a single capstone on side supports only, but there are at least three of them on the south side, and possibly more. At the back, near the hedge, I think that there are a few peristalith stones also.

Petit Mont

Petit Mont submitted by AlexHunger on 20th Dec 2004. Petit Mont in Arzon, dating to about 4600 BCE at the earliest, is one of the most significant Cairns in Britany, but unfortunately one of the most brutaly vandalized. Breiddin Hillfort submitted by TimPrevett on 24th May 2004. From the left Breiddin hill (also spellt Breidden) with New Pieces, centre and Moel y Golfa, right. Viewed from the south. The hillfort on Breiddin hill made national news in July 2000 when the culmination of a decade of diligent deforestation showed the remains of this settlement, hidden for over 1500 years. At well over 1000 feet above central eastern Powys (formerly Montgomeryshire), not far from the Shropshire border, the fort has a panoramic position. As one would expect, the extremel...
