Gray Hill stone row submitted by TheCaptain on 2nd Apr 2004. Grey Hill or Gray Hill Stone Row, Monmouthshire, ST437936 - ST438935
Looking to the south down the hill, is a fairly reasonable alignment of 5 stones in a row, which sort of joins between the jumbled stone remains on the top of the hill and the stone circle.

St Elvis Farm
Date Added: 19th Sep 2020
Site Type: Chambered Tomb
Country: Wales (Pembrokeshire)
Visited: Would like to visit
St Elvis Farm submitted by Adam Stanford on 18th Nov 2004. Located on a N-W facing slope, the tomb is one of three coastal burial sites in south-west Wales which appear to have been purposely concealed from the sea. A ‘double cromlech’ with 2 capstones is supported by two uprights. There are traces of a mound between both chambers and on the western side of the western chamber. However, both structures are today badly damaged. During the latter years of the 19th century, a tenant farmer from nearby St Elvis Farm was asked to stop ‘blasting’ bits...

Maen Llia submitted by cerrig on 23rd Jun 2015. A real life manifestation of the stone 'going down to the stream for a drink' - or its shadow at least! Not quite the solstice , a couple of days late . Kite aerial photo of the sunset shadow , and Maen Llia's new enclosure . No expense was wasted on the planning or erecting , a very frugal venture .

Maen Mawr submitted by AngieLake on 8th Aug 2005. This view of Maen Mawr looks north towards the even-shaped flat-topped mountain that blocks the north aspect of this lovely symmetrical valley. The larger Fan Brycheiniog mountain is out of sight to the NW of this view. Behind me is Cerrig Duon circle, overlooking the alternate E/W folds either side of the southern slopes of the valley from the semi-circular south end of this platform.

This is a fine example of a probable prehistoric site having been "taken over" in the early days of Christianity. It stands only a short distance from the south porch of the church and is about 1.75m high.

Ty Illtyd Chambered Cairn submitted by Johnny on 18th Sep 2001. Ty Illtyd Chambered Long Cairn (Powys, S0 098 264)
This site, high up on a hilltop ridge above Llamhamlach, commands panoramic views along the floodplains of the Usk river. The north-facing chamber of the tomb, with capstone in situ, lies just off-centre in a much denuded oval shaped mound 23.0 metres in length and 15.5 metres wide. Several upright stones outside the chamber may once have delineated a forecourt area suggesting that Ty Illtyd may have been a simple terminal chamber tomb. The...
