Monte Baranta Muraglia Megalitica submitted by richardfrance on 16th Mar 2008. The biggest feature of the Baranta complex is the 90 metre long defensive wall - here being restored.
There is one narrow entrance-way beyond which traces of dwelling can be found. The sacred area, with menhir, stone circle and flat limestone 'arena' are all outside the wall.

So a composite done tenderly of Avebury that is at my very heart.

All around are workshops (lighting fire, splitting flint, modelling clay, archery) -- and a restaurant serving, so is it claimed, prehistoric meals (I haven't tried, for lack of time). April 2017.
