Turf Maze in Gotland. Next to the church in Fröjel is a labyrinth, 10 x 9 m, consisting of 12 rows of stones. In the edge is a cemented well cover with pump that cuts off the 2 outermost stone rows. The labyrinth has been restored. It was probably at a pre-Christian cult site long before the church was built here.
The Trojaborg is a maze shape that (it is claimed) has existed for at least three thousand years. Its origin is unknown, and one does not know what it has been used for. Most likely, it had some magical or ritual meaning, perhaps with different content in different places?
