Goonhilly tumuli submitted by JimChampion on 26th Oct 2007. August 2007. In the distance, across the heath is a large heather-covered round barrow at grid reference SW72522158. I didn't get any closer as I was wearing shorts and the heath is covered with the evil cornish gorse that is ankle-high and very spiky. The dish in the background is "Arthur", the oldest of the satellite communication dishes at Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station.

Tubby´s Head submitted by Antonine on 23rd Aug 2022. Tubby’s head has a 20m long bank and ditch, once part of an ancient cliff castle dating between the second century BC and the first century AD.
The site would have covered an area of about 0.45ha. Occupation was evident due to the presence of a shell midden. Two hut circles were located in 1985.
The photo was taken in 2010. Tubby’s Head is on the left with Wheal Coates in the foreground.

Chun Tumulus submitted by Bladup on 5th Mar 2015. Chun Tumulus, there are two hard to see barrows here and some big stones over the nearby wall, a path used to go though the barrows but it's thankfully now been diverted.

Chun Quoit submitted by sem on 16th Jun 2005. The capstone and the horizon.
There is a theory that dolmens (or quoits as they are known in Cornwall) were not totally covered in earth but the capstones were left uncovered and were a copy of the horizon. I have manipulated the tones in this shot to show this, but no shapes have been altered.

Boskednan Menhir 1
Date Added: 14th Jun 2018
Site Type: Standing Stone (Menhir)
Country: England (Cornwall)
Visited: Yes. My rating: Condition 2 Ambience 4 Access 3

Boskednan Menhir 1 submitted by theCaptain on 14th Oct 2014. From my dim memories, I thought that the menhir was somewhere between the stone circle and the cairns along the path towards Men-an-Tol.
On the way back I notice indeed there is a stump and perhaps a fallen stone right on the pathway where I was expecting it, is it remains of a pair?
Pipers perhaps?
