Menoignon menhir submitted by theCaptain on 5th May 2014. The menhir must be about 8 metres in height, of large girth at the bottom, slowly tapering up to a pointed top.
The southeastern face of the menhir has been worked into an extremely flat surface, of triangular shape, something which clearly took a lot of time to produce.

Eles Megalithic Tomb 29 submitted by AlexHunger on 27th Mar 2008. Here probably the one in best shape, perhaps like an Egyptian mastaba. East Facade. I have seen tower blocks less solidly built. it has 7 chambers and measures 10.5 x 9 Meters.

Probably a result of historic destruction attempts and the removal of all smaller stones and the dry walling. Nevertheless a very impressive site. The nearby site D18 is visible in the background. Mactaris Numidian Tomb submitted by AlexHunger on 26th Mar 2008. Large Numidian Megalithic tomb measuring 12 x 4.5 Meters next to Numidian-Roman City. South Side. It has 6 chambers all next to each other. The style is as if the locals had been influenced by Egyptian mastabas and French Allé Couverte and the odd Maltese temple.
The Numidian Megalithic tombs tend to begin in the 5th century BCE and end in the middle of the 2nd Century BCE.
As much of Mactaris has not been excavated from a 2 Meter layer of dirt, I suspect that there ight be a couple more of...
