D50 Noordsleen submitted by Martin_L on 3rd Sep 2010. Pole aerial view from the South-East showing the halfway exposed 17m x 4,35m chamber [1] and the oval enclosure. The covering barrow is largely removed as well as the drywalling.
The position of the lateral entrance is marked "E". The passage is robbed except for one orthostat, but the positions of the 3 missing orthostats are marked with concrete implements.

D51 Noordsleen submitted by Martin_L on 5th May 2009. The whole ensemble viewed from the North-East. The chamber is more than halfway filled with earth. The easternmost capstone is still in situ. Only the tops of its uprights are visible. Hopefully the picture shows a bit of the fine ambience of this beautiful site (April 2009)

D52 Diever
Date Added: 3rd Jul 2016
Site Type: Passage Grave
Country: Netherlands (Drenthe)
Visited: Yes on 2nd Jul 2016. My rating: Condition 3 Ambience 4 Access 5

D52 Diever submitted by Martin_L on 15th Sep 2010. Pole aerial view from the south-east. The exposed skeleton (dry-walling and intermediate slabs robbed) of the partly reconstructed passage grave viewed from the south-east. While the eastern part is probably close to the original state the southwestern-part was quite disturbed [1] and the 1950s reconstruction is possibly incorrect. Entrance marked "E". The stone marked "P" was interpreted as the only remaining passage orthostat.
[1] compare the groundplan of the heavily disturbed SW part ...

Site Type: Passage Grave
Country: Netherlands (Drenthe)
Visited: Yes on 2nd Jul 2016. My rating: Condition 3 Ambience 4 Access 5

D54 Havelterberg submitted by Martin_L on 24th Sep 2010. The 7 capstone passage-grave viewed from the West. A stone visible to the right of the chamber probably is a remaining passage orthostat. The 12,65m by 3,30m [1] chamber is halfway embedded into the sandy ground. As in most cases only the megalithic skeleton remained. Drywalling, barrow and a possible enclosure are lost.
