The main megaliths used for construction of this massive chamber are preserved, but it largely collapsed due to historic destruction attempts. Hekese Grab B submitted by RunaStera on 25th Jun 2005. Hunebed #883 - Hekese Grave B - the inner wisth of the chamber is 19m x max. 3.5m. Special to this grave is, that it is linked by a 53m long stone-row (alignement) to Hekese Grave A (#884).

Huenensteine Thuine submitted by RunaStera on 9th Apr 2004. Großsteingrab in der Kunkenvenne it is called 1841 A.D. as the most awesome and nicest stonegrave in the Kingdom of Hannover. It has 17 yokes and is 27m long. The grave is build in the typically east-west-direction (235°) with a passage in the south. Very special is, that the oval border circle is doubly. First excavtions were made by officers of Napoleon I. Some stones lowered but in 1824 A.D. stones brought back in their originally position. In the stonegrave were found stonehatch...

Mehringer Steine 1 submitted by Martin_L on 5th Feb 2010. Site viewed from the East. Remains of a 7 (or 6) capstone megalithic tomb measuring appr. 14m x 3,5m originally with oval enclosure. The latter being completely destroyed except for one kerbstone remaining in the South-east. At least 3 capstones are robbed, another one is damaged by blasting attempts. The remaining capstones collapsed into the chamber. The chamber is partly embedded into the remains of the oval barrow. April 2009
