Country: England (Devon)

It appears to be a part of the original alignment, adapted for more recent use as a marker for ancient tracks crossing the moor.

Hart Tor north rows submitted by Brian Byng on 7th Feb 2002. Hart Tor north double row looking northeast
Two stone rows at Hart Tor. Burl does list the Hart Tor double row in the gazeteer of his book
but it is under the section headed Avenues!
A double and a single row each originate from two of three cairns. The double
row is in good condition except at the lower end where tinning works have cut
into it. The double row SX 5770 7170 is 126 m long azimuth 76 & has about 80
surviving sones. The single row SX 5771 7169 is 61 m long az 60 & ha...

The cairn at the top of the northern rows is about 9m in diameter, and is surrounded by a lovely ring of 15 stone slabs. It is possible that there is another ring of stones still present within the cairn.
This is the view to the west, looking down the double row.

Hanging Stones Rock submitted by rich32 on 6th Mar 2005. Hanging Stones Quarry, Ilkely Moor, West Yorkshire
This site confuses me a little, you have 2 fairly large flat panels of rock with various carvings, ranging from simple cup markings to the more elaborate design you see in this photo. The confusing bit is the different amounts of erosion on carvings that are within a few feet of each other, some are nearly completely worn, others still quite clear & sharp.
