Ffostyll North Chambered Long Barrow submitted by Johnny on 4th Jul 2002. Ffostill North Chambered Long Barrow, Powys (SO 179 349):
Ffostyll North is slightly the larger of the two barrows in this field. It lies east to west and has two or three chambers. The main one, at the eastern end is ruinous. There was a small chamber in the centre of the northern side of the barrow and possibly a third chamber at the western end.

Log Text: As previously mentioned by other visitors, the farmer was very friendly and helpful. I came at the wrong time of year as the barrows were both overgrown with lots of nettles which obscured the features.
