markj99 visited on 28th Nov 2017 - their rating: Cond: 3 Amb: 4 Access: 4 Sharpitor cairn circle is located in moorland c. 130 yards E of a lay-by at SX 55707 70679. Follow a path heading ENE out of the lay-by to find the low lying cairn and cist.

Beyond the downhill ends of the Sharpitor NW rows is a nice little cairn which survives in a reasonable condition, with remains of a central cist, and a surrounding stone kerb.
Update December 2019: This cairn is featured on the Prehistoric Dartmoor Walks (PDW) website - see their entries for the Sharpitor (N) or Peek Hill Platform Cairn Circle and Cist and the Sharpitor area Stone Rows and Cists.
This site is also recorded as Pastscape Monument No. 440164, as MDV3769 (Round cairn 380 metres north-north-west of Sharpitor summit, Walkhampton) on the Devon and Dartmoor HER, and scheduled as Historic England List Entry No. 1007423 (Round cairn 380m NNW of Sharpitor summit).
